  4. Inquiry shows the configurations of your SCSI subsystem by checking
  5. for SCSI device names (e.g. scsi.device, hddisk.device, gvpscsi.device, ...)
  6. and sending a SCSI Inquiry command to all found units.

  8. IMPORTANT:
  9.  
  10. 1. Inquiry checks for nearly all known SCSI device names:
  11.    scsi.device, hddisk.device, suprascsi.device,
  12.    gvpscsi.device, HardFrame.device, IVS_SCSI.device,
  13.    IVS_SCSIpro.device, icddisk.device, harddisk.device,
  14.    ADD_scsi.device, Nexus.device, ALF.device
  15.  
  16.    If your SCSI device's name is not listed below, start Inquiry
  17.    from CLI/Shell with the device's name, e.g.
  18.       Inquiry myscsi.device
  19.  
  20. 2. Inquiry and MusicBox require SCSI direct command, so your SCSI device
  21.    must support HD_SCSICMD. This is supported my most controllers, but
  22.    some cheap ones like the Nexus controller are incompatible to
  23.    the CBM standard.

  26. To install MusicBox, you need the device name and the unit number for
  27. your CD-ROM.
